CONSENT AND PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY

NovaSkin Aesthetics Studio + Mobile Clinic

At NovaSkin Aesthetics Studio + Mobile Clinic, informed consent is a fundamental part of safe and ethical aesthetic practice. All treatments are carried out only after a full consultation and completion of the appropriate consent documentation.

Prior to treatment, clients will be required to complete and sign a consent form confirming that they

  • Understand the nature of the treatment

  • Have disclosed accurate medical history

  • Are aware of potential risks and side effects

  • Have had the opportunity to ask questions

  • Consent freely without pressure

Consent may be withdrawn at any time prior to treatment. Once treatment has been carried out, consent cannot be retrospectively withdrawn for services already provided.

Photography

Before and after photographs may be taken for

  • Clinical assessment

  • Treatment planning

  • Record keeping

  • Monitoring treatment outcomes

Photographs are taken with client consent and stored securely. Images will not be used for marketing, social media, or promotional purposes without explicit written consent. This is via the OPT OUT function on the Consent form completed at each visit.

Clients may refuse photography for marketing purposes  only without this affecting their eligibility for treatment.
