Patient Journey
All new clients are required to attend a consultation prior to booking any treatment. This allows time to discuss your concerns, assess suitability and create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your goals and individual needs.

Consultations at NovaSkin Aesthetics Studio are complimentary and may take place in person, over the phone or via Microsoft Teams, where appropriate. For added convenience, mobile consultations in the comfort of your own home are available and are subject to a £10 mobile consultation fee. If a consultation is requested at home, this fee applies regardless of treatment type.
Ahead of your appointment, you will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire, which will be reviewed during your consultation. Informed consent and clinical photography are required as part of the process to ensure treatments are safe, appropriate and fully documented. Some treatments may also require additional discussion around pre and post treatment care before proceeding.

* Mobile appointments are available within a 15-mile radius of OX12 0PE, covered within the standard £10 mobile consultation fee. For locations beyond this area, additional travel costs may apply and will always be confirmed in advance.

​​​Important Information for Anti-Wrinkle (Botulinum Toxin) Treatments
​Anti-wrinkle injections are classed as prescription-only medicines (POMs) under UK law and must be prescribed by a qualified prescriber before treatment can take place. We can help facilitate this as part of your booking journey.

The required prescriber consultation may be conducted in person, over the phone or via a secure video platform such as Microsoft Teams, where appropriate. This consultation must be scheduled in advance of your desired treatment date to allow time for assessment and prescription and is subject to an additional fee.

Please note:
• A valid prescription is required before treatment
• Treatment cannot proceed without prescriber approval
• Age verification is required
• Cosmetic anti-wrinkle treatments are not available to anyone under 18 years of age

Before scheduling any treatment, all new clients are required to attend a consultation. This allows time to discuss your concerns, define your goals and develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to your individual needs, ensuring you achieve the best possible results.
At your consultation, you will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire, which we will review together during your appointment. A thorough assessment will be carried out to help guide treatment recommendations.
Consultations are available at NovaSkin Aesthetics Studio™, by phone or via Microsoft Teams, with mobile consultations also available.

Some treatments may require an additional, treatment-specific consultation. This includes discussion around suitability, expected outcomes, pre and post treatment care, informed consent and clinical photography where required.

Prescription-only treatments, such as anti-wrinkle injections, require a separate prescriber consultation in line with UK regulations.​

Treatment
Your safety and wellbeing are always our priority. In line with best clinical practice, we do not routinely recommend proceeding with treatment on the same day as your initial consultation. This allows you time to consider the information provided, ask questions and make an informed decision about your treatment plan.

When you attend your treatment appointment, you will already have completed a consultation and received detailed pre-treatment guidance. This ensures you feel clear on what to expect, comfortable with your decision and able to relax throughout your treatment, which is carried out with care, precision and attention to detail.

Aftercare & Ongoing Support
Following your treatment, you will receive clear, standardised aftercare guidance specific to your treatment. These aftercare guides are provided digitally so you can easily refer back to them at home.

Your care continues beyond your appointment. A post-treatment check-in may take place within 24–72 hours to ensure you are feeling well and supported.
Where appropriate, a follow-up review at 2–3 weeks may be recommended to assess results, answer questions and discuss next steps. This is part of our commitment to achieving safe, refined and well-balanced outcomes.

Education is an important part of aftercare. We take time to explain how your treatment works, how results develop and how to care for your skin or treatment area to support long-term results.
